man those were the best of times. getting a phone call from gramps telling us he found our turtle. I wonder where they are. if they are alive. what they are doing. I wonder if mine went to turtle heaven or turtle heck. I think he was pretty good, although he wasn't very evangelistic about himself...never would come out for very long.

a mother's memories are such precious treasures.
I remember one time a couple of years back,a tortise with the initials LG showed up in their yard. Mabey it was the same one.
